Can a used Golf Ball perform as well as a new one?
There have been many studies on the topic - and manufacturers do test their balls not just out the box but with thousands of hits ( like how the iron byron tests Golf Balls every year giving the My Golf Spy rankings ) - a Golf ball is only new until you hit it; and modern balls are more resilient than ever.
A Figure of 3% yardage loss on the drive does float around ( this happens even with brand new balls which have been sitting a long time ) - but a minimum of 50% savings means more time golfing, improving to reach better scores - an extra 3 yards less seldom so.
Are your balls dirty?
We use ultrasonic cleaning, eco-friendly cleaning products and an attentive hand wipe to ensure our balls are as clean and sanitary as they came in their original box - maybe with some marker or a scratch added too.
Some dirt permanently stains the ball and it will look dirty no matter how much scrubbing is applied - when this is lightly so and a ball is still in good condition it may end up in B else they often find themselves one way trip to the practice bin.
This is not dirt that will rub off - some organisms in Ponds also leave permanent coloring giving us some pretty funky balls.
Can I pickup my order? where from?
Sure thing! you can also browse in store.
Our address is 583 Glenfield Road - either come during business hours found on our google stire page (2nd Hand Golf) or get in touch to make an appointment.
What do these Grades mean?
You can check out our Grading Guide but in short
A Grade - Great for all levels of play, mint balls
B Grade - Balls with minor wear such as scuffing, discoloration - great still for casual play.
Practice - These balls are well worn , plain ugly ( though still very functional ) or a very old model. Great for practicing or situations where you'll lose most balls you hit.
What is a mix?
Mixes mean the balls are non specific. A Callaway mix is a range of Models, Colors that Callaway produce, a Callaway Supersoft Matte Mix is Callaway Supersofts in mixed Colors .
When balls are in some way varied we call it a mix.
Our most popular mix is A Grade Mix - Where no two orders have the same mix of models and brands and is a great way to get familiar with different balls. The only thing in common in the A Grade Mix is that they're all A Grade mint balls.
Do the balls come with a warranty?
We do not offer a warranty as these are used goods we did not ourselves manufacture though we did spend our time taking a chaos of dirty mixed up balls and turn them clearn, ordered and consistent.
We always offer 100% money back guarantee within 30 days of your order - just send them back and we're happy to either swap them out or give your money back. No questions asked.
Can you ship outside of New Zealand
Not currently as Golf Balls weight a lot making shipping overseas cost ineffective.
